I think I have taken a median stance between being spiritual while staying connected with the world. I enjoy meaningful things; long walks, nature, photography, museums, city lights etc. the most peaceful place for me is in front of the ocean on a quiet sunset. The magnitude of the infinite view and the remarkable setting of the sun really gets to me and often I am in awe of things so amazing, including my existence (I was a philosophy minor in college lol) I am always up for a new experience, or rather, I am up for anything at any time excluding places I see as spiritually toxic such as bars, clubs etc. I love to travel. Before I die I want to experience every culture in its land (a little ambitious, I know).

I have a true appreciation for people that are driven and follow their passion. I have learned through observation that it doesn’t necessarily take an intelligent person to become successful (however you may describe success) but rather a go-getter.

I’d say one of my best qualities as a person is that I am a very understanding and extremely positive person. I grew up around all brothers (no sisters) and I’d like to think that I have a firm grasp on how men think and why they act they way they do, so I consider myself very blessed to be able to see the coin on both sides.

Above it all, I consider myself to be a very compassionate person, something I can thank my parents for. I think this is the key to being a good human being, which is very important to me. I once heard an interview from a woman that was over a hundred years old and she was asked what her secret is and she said, “love everyone and have faith in God, the rest will work itself out.” I think I’ve adopted that as a way of life and I have faith it will keep me moving forward on this journey through life.

I live by some very simple and fundamental rules, such as treating people the way you want to be treated. I think it is the answer to a thousand questions. I love life. I love people. I enjoy the depth in things. And I want to leave a mark on the world and at the end reflect back and be content with myself and the manner in which I led my life.
