fnabavia - ALhamdulilah

About Me...

I am not shia or sunni, i don't really side with either but i respect both, my dad is shia, but I was taught mostly by sunnis, and just consider myself muslim. They made me choose one in my profile.
More importantly, I'm a teacher, i love music and sports (playing not watching), love children, I love life ! I try to be greatful for everything that I have, four siblings, two supporting parents, two nieces who are the loves of my life, and great friends. I believe full heartedly in soulmates and inshallah we will all find ours!
What am I looking for?
I am always happy to meet good people with love for Allah Subhanawataala and who are not afraid to discuss religion with an open heart.
I have found that marriage seems to be the most difficult struggle for so many muslims in this generation, and I pray that it becomes easier with time for all of us. Something so beautiful should not be surrounded by so many unneccessary and mundane complications. There is, however, a fine line between forcing the prospects of marriage and simply giving into naseeb (destiny). There's also the middle option which is doing what is right and putting all your trust in Allah (swt) that we will meet our partners when it is right for us. So after all is said and done, yes I would love to find a husband, the love of my life, but I wouldn't say I'm LOOKING for him... I'm just opening up the window of opportunity by joining a singles site... I crack myself up...

I am looking for a trustworthy person who is not quick to judge others. I am tired of muslims constantly judging eachother and feel that our ummah will never unite when even the smallest of muslim communities are torn apart by backbiting and arrogance. I am looking for someone who is energetic and loving, open to trying new things, and who takes care of himself both physically and especially spiritually. I put my spiritual health first, because Allah blessed me with my life and I must give credit where credit is due. I think the healthiest of relationships are those where both husband and wife always thank Allah even in the most difficult of times, because those are the times when our souls either strengthen or weaken the most. And if the souls are strengthened together in this world, then the promise of forever in marriage can be carried out into the next more promising life. Also, I have always loved the saying "A family that prays together stays together" because it is so true. In the most horrible of circumstances, for example death in the family or loss of a job, only a family who prays together will be able to help eachother heal and count blessings instead of dwelling on sorrows and regrets. That is what marriage is for, and I can't wait till my wedding day!
