Within the header of the My Photos page is a counter that displays your current image count (a).

You can add a Primary Photo (b), Public Photo (b) or Private Photo (b) to your galleries.

You can manage access to your private photos using the Access Manager (c).

Here you can confirm the gallery you want your photo to be uploaded to (d) and choose the photo file you want to upload (d).

Once you have chosen the photo file you want to upload, our system will automatically detect the size of your file, at this point your photo may be re-sized before it is uploaded, this can take a few seconds, please be patient if your photo needs resizing (e).

Once your photo has been uploaded you will receive an on screen confirmation (f).

Note: All thumbnails and images on Single Muslim are now automatically squared.

Note: Your primary image may be adjusted by the site admin, to fit the site guidelines, before it is made live on the site.

Once you are happy with your photo you can save it (n). If you want to remove your photo you can delete it from here (o).

    *

Once you have uploaded your photos to the website, they will be placed in to a pending Unpassed state until they have been approved by the site admin, this status is displayed on the My Photos page (p).

    *

Approved photos are available to view on your Single Muslim profile (q), apart from private photos which are controlled through the Access Manager.

    *

If you have photos in your private gallery other members can request to view them from your profile (r). If both members have private photos they can request to swap access to each others private photos (s). Once you have requested access to see a members private gallery you will see that you have a pending request from that member within your Access Manager (t).

    *

When you receive a request to view your private photos you will receive a notification within the site menu (u) and on your Control Panel (u).

    *

When you request to view another members private photos they are promoted to approve or reject your request from within the Access Manager (v).

If you approve a normal request to view your private photos, the other member will be able to view them indefinitely, or until you remove their access (w).

If you approve a swap request to view private photos, then both members are given 48 hours to view each others private photos (x) after this time access is removed.

    • Go to File / Open and select the photo you want to resize.
    • Select Image from the main menu, then Stretch / Skew.
    • Enter a percentage to reduce the image in both the Horizontal and Vertical fields.
    • Select File / Save As to save your image to a new file. Make sure Save as type is set to JPEG and save the file as you would normally.
    • Then log-in to your profile and upload the photo, using My Photos.

If you are still having problems with your photo(s), you can email them to us (customercare@singlemuslim.com) and we will upload them to your profile for you.
