what's this?

I'm a pretty easy going, yet wildly passionate guy :) oh, and I'm pretty emotional too, haha :) I just graduated this year alhamdulillah with a degree in French and minors in Sociology and Peace & Justice Studies. Currently, I'm a middle school social studies teacher at a private Islamic school and I absolutely LOVE my job :) Right now, I am on course to memorizing the Qur'an by October 2011 inshaAllah :) I embraced Islam at a young age and I love it. I'm very passionate about Islam and very much involved in my community. My plans for the distant future are a bit unclear at this point as I have a great desire to become more fluent in Arabic and study Islam at a much deeper level. At this point though, I'm rather content with life as a teacher and I'm thankful to Allah for everything that I have and all the opportunities and experiences brought my way :)
I love to play Football (soccer)! It's my passion :) I also love reading...mainly Islamic literature and Science Fiction/Fantasy (some of my favorite authors are David Gemmell, Terry Brooks, Anne McCaffrey...) I like hanging out with friends; love coffee shops ;) haha
I'm a huge AC Milan, Barcelona and Arsenal fan so I try not to miss any of their matches :) Traveled to Boston over the summer to watch Milan play Inter and it was worth every second:)
I like playing my guitar, or at least attempting to, haha :) and I believe that everything that happens, every experience and person that we meet is ultimately good :) I try to learn from all of my mistakes and I am not ashamed to make mistakes :)
