A Little Bit About Me
I'm back, I needed a break from the time wasters on here.

I will update my pic, haven't changed much save for the additional laughter lines here and there.

I actually enjoyed my time during the lockdown catching up with the various things I never had the time to previously complete.

I hope the time has also given us a chance to reflect on our lives and appreciate the life we have been given, coupled with the simple things in life that put a smile on our faces.

That brings me to why I am back on SM.
I have been single for quite some time and I am being honest now I realised (yes I have to admit it) but it would be nice to share my life with that someone.

I am not going to rush into anything. I am happy with my life and it's better than trying to settle with someone only to have a stagnant relationship. As I say, que sera sera, and if its not meant to happen then so be it, I am blessed with wonderful people in my life... if not I can get another cat!!!

Well I'm not just looking for that final jigsaw piece but am not into temporary marriages, not into guys under 35, nor big egos, hypocrites, one night stands, or intend to be a 'second wife'! Or a friend 'with benefits' Well that sums it up.

Am in no rush - (I am spiritual in my belief, I respect my religion but it doesn't rule my life and at least I am honest!).

OK I'm not a spring chicken and but am happy go lucky young 50 and my laughter lines are now happy wrinkles. I’ve no regrets in life…after all our experiences mould us into what we are today. I love my additional laughter lines.

I am grateful for I have been blessed with - a wonderful son and family/friends, a roof over my head, food on the table, erm lots of shoes and handbags (Lols).

Sometimes in life we forget its the simple things that make us smile ...and for me its personality that I'm really after - old school values will win me ...but if you're still reading this and maybe curious...why not say 'hello'.

Ah yes, I may come accross as a cynic on here but many times I have been proven right. I'm actually a quirky Aquarian, placid not passive nor stupid. I have also heard every excuse under the sun as to why a guy hasn't put a picture on this site - if you don't have a picture up PLEASE DO NOT MESSAGE ME, no pic means NO REPLY FROM ME !

What I Am Looking For
Someone IMPERFECTLY PERFECT! We all find different qualities attractive but for me... someone with a warm smile, sharing mentally stimulating conversation or jusy silly jokes, bad hair days, no problem, quirky sense of style, again no problem, into metal rock music (erm still no problem here)...basically just be yourself - no pretences no mind games that's all I'm looking for...the rest I hope to find out in good time!
