Currently working full time in Manchester city centre for a tiny design agency. I enjoy reading, walking in the countryside and generally taking in lots of culture stuff (films, food, museums, galleries...)
Apparently I'm really good at listening to problems though very rarely provide a solution and I've been told I'm surprisingly good at buying gifts and even wrapping them!
I love reading. My favourite author is Haruki Murakami, it's very easy to get lost in one of his books. I also like to read newspapers and magazines, nothing beats a lazy Saturday morning with a stack of reading material.
I enjoy most films but tend to favour foreign (though not Bollywood), art house and documentary films. I love American dramas like Mad Men and Breaking Bad. I also love the radio and listening to podcasts.
I'd love to travel more and have a list of places I'd like to visit.
Lisa is my favourite Simpson.
I'm looking for someone with a good sense of humour, a good balance of west/east values and someone who is just generally nice.
Sometimes I feel as if I'm just waiting to get married to really start living life. I'm really looking forward to making a house a home (with ideas stolen from ApartmentTherapy and IKEA), little weekends away at cottages and just spending a lot of time with another person.
You'll win big points if you're nerdy, into reading and can make a mean apple crumble.
I understand that being a boy I can go into my 30s and nobody will bat an eyelid at me not being married or talk about my 'expiry date'. I can only imagine the pressure some girls are put under when it comes to marriage, having said that I don't want to put any pressure on yourself or myself so taking it slowly and finding out a lot about each other first is the first step.
I'm registering to find myself a partner
